Safeguard antifreeze is industry proven to deliver superior winter protection for marine craft wastewater and engine cooling water systems.

The specially formulated, non-toxic Safeguard range protects against severe freezing conditions, giving peace of mind during winter storage. This product is also biodegradable, making it safer for the application and local environment when compared to standard car/automotive antifreeze. To prevent internal corrosion, scaling and biological fouling all Safeguard products contain multi-metal and multi-function inhibitors.

  Anti-Freeze - Rating: AProvides freeze protection down to -46°C and burst protection down to -73°C.

• 

  Biodegradability - Rating: AAre readily biodegradable (90% over ten days) and will not remain in the environment or bio-accumulate.

• 

  Corrosion Control - Rating: AContains corrosion inhibitors that exceed ASTM D1384 standards to prevent scale precipitation. Contains a broad spectrum biocide to proactively prevent any bacteria or algae growth during the winterisation period. Safe for aluminium, copper, brass, all types of plastic and won't damage rubber or gaskets.

  Toxicity- Rating: AClassified as Non-Toxic. Suitable for systems where low-toxicity is stipulated or preferred.
